The Security Industry Authority conducted an large-scale investigation across West Yorkshire on Thursday 1st December involving the inspection of over 200 door supervisors, security staff and CCTV operatives.

Operation Regent aimed to check that those working in the private security industry showed compliance with the Terms and Conditions of the Private Security Industry Act 2001.

107 security sites across the region were inspected, and of the 219 operatives that were checked, 214 were found to hold a valid SIA licence.
